Hope everyone has been enjoying their day!! I myself celebrated by picking up an absentee ballot and voting early (I am going to be in New Orleans next week!!), and then I inaugurated
our new kitchen toy making Halloween sugar cookies.
Since we STILL have not made friends (ugh, I can barely even mention it, it's getting so embarrassingly pathetic), we were NOT invited to any fancy (or non-fancy) Halloween parties. So we didn't dress up. I guess I'll just chalk that one up to a loss on the old "Fall to do list". But it's ok, don't feel too sorry for me. At least I have
this loveable nerd to spend my night with. Tonight we are going to roast pumpkin seeds and decorate the cookies, while eating
this and drinking
Octoberfest. Continuing the cliche, I might even convince RJ to watch a horror movie with me, but it probably won't happen because he's afraid of scary movies. That's the truth, I'm not just being mean. So glad I have a strong man to protect me. coughcough.

SHUT UP. THIS IS MY LIFE! I really think one of my friends made this. Now which one of you bitches was it? |
I have to say, Halloween is much more enjoyable when you're not dealing with over-sugared, hyper-active children. Not that I don't miss their adorable faces... I do. Just not today. Or tomorrow.

It's a hard job, but someone has to do it. |
Hope you all have a lovely Halloween night!

Ready for some trick-or-treaters! So far I've only eaten two candy bars, but I think that's because I've been too busy eating cookie dough. |
|
So obsessed with my new Kitchen aid that I forgot what a pain in the ass it is to make sugar cookies |

You guys. My nose seriously looks like a witches' nose here. It's not just the hat. Yikes. I need to get one of those deviated septum things, so I can get a nose job like all the celebrities do. |

Look who's getting in the Halloween spirit! :) |
|
Happy Halloween! |
