My journeys to New Orleans, Denver, and Seattle were so much fun, but it's really nice to be back with my RJ-Bear. He obviously missed me so much, and by me I mean my cooking, because I came home to find THREE pizza boxes sitting next to the garbage. (If you are thinking "Wow, what a slob, what a pig," you stop it right now!! Only I can think that.) JK, JK! In truth, he's just really busy at his job right now. And if you must know, we DO usually get the thin crust pizza. We like to call it "clean pizza eating". Oh, and last defense for
his our slobbish ways- the dumpster for our apartment complex is SERIOUSLY a mile away. And that is only an exaggeration by like half a mile. It is SUCH a pain to take the garbage out. Except for the fact that I frequently count it as my exercise for the day.
ANYWAY, RJ's hard work (and healthy eating) is paying off, because he got a 96% on his first test!! :) I asked if that was the highest score in his class and he glared at me and said, "It's not a competition Erika," so that may mean no, but I'm just going to say he probably most definitely got the highest score in his class because he is the smartest. And the cutest. The end.
Oh, except one more thing. When I eyed RJ, and then the pizza boxes stacked next to the garbage in an amused/judging manner, RJ goes, "Look who's on the box! I saved these for you so you could see!" Tay is all over Papa John's pizza boxes because she has partnered with them and they are selling her CD. "Nice try," I said smiling, but I did appreciate the lie thought. Then he said that he was going to use the coupon from the box to buy her CD for me, and I loved him more than I ever have. The feeling was not mutual however, because I said, "Oh babe, that is so sweet, I love you, but I actually already bought her CD. Twice." And then I ran away.
Sorry to be super annoying with all this RJ talk, I just missed him a lot! And he doesn't read my blog (rude), so his consequence is that I can talk about him as much as I want!! :)
Now, moving on.... here are some of the pictures I took on my phone from my lovely trip! If you are a good reader, and stick with my long windedness until the very end, you will be rewarded with a very special surprise photo. And it will be worth it. I promise.

Lil' Sebastian has come back from the dead! |

Even though SOME PEOPLE were more interested in playing football with the apples, than picking them, it was still a successful fall outing. |

|
Clearly it was a very vain trip to Greenbluff |
|
Animal whisperer. Or is that just with sea-life? |
***If you are wondering why Rick Lund was not pictured with any of the animals, it's because we were all pretending not to know him due to the fact that when he approached each animal, he would start talking about how he would cook and prepare it. So inappropriate.
|
Traumatizing event: I was TRYING to get a cute picture for Andrea with my RUDE brothers, and no one wanted to be the one who put their face in the pumpkin head. So I selflessly volunteered, and what did the little jerks do? SHOVED MY HEAD THROUGH THE HOLE. Violently, might I add. |
|
AND THEN I GOT STUCK AND NO ONE WOULD HELP ME. Andrea just snapped away with the camera, while a crowd gathered and laughed. I wish I was kidding. SO RUDE. |
|
ZAGS! |
|
Watching the student section made me feel very old. Even though the 04-08 student section was MUCH better and cooler than the one now. |
|
This made me feel even older, I can't believe it's been EIGHT years. I wanted to go visit my old room, especially after Stephen called me "embarrassing", but we had to go to dinner. Next time. |

Drinks at the Davenport |

The best grandpa/granddad a girl could ever ask for. |

No trip home is complete without 10 million photos taken of my cat |
|
He's basically a mini lion |
I just realized that there are barely any photos of Rickster from this little trip. So allow me to share this little gem I found when I was home:
|
AHHHH! Obsessed. Rick was a hipster before it was cool to be hipster! Love you dad :) |
And now I'm back with this goon, and even though I really miss my family, he always makes me smile. Especially when he supports my love of Taylor. Which is often.
Now I have to go. RJ is voting (online) as we speak, so I have to go look over his shoulder and make sure he's voting for the right peeps! What a good wife I am. Oh, and then we are off to go test drive a car for him, so cross your fingers because
I am tired of sharing Fitty I really want him to find a car he loves!
